Deirdre Hollingsworth is Professor of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at the Centre for Global Health Research at the University of Oxford. Deirdre works on the development of mathematical, statistical, and computational models which inform disease dynamics and translation to global health policy. Her research has focused on developing mathematical models that can be used to predict the spread of these diseases and evaluate the effectiveness of different control strategies.
